EGPROC 2022 June 29 – July 1
Program: A tentative schedule of the conference can be found here.
We look forward to welcoming you at the University of Amsterdam for the 40th annual EGPROC conference. Submissions received by April 19 are given priority, but we will accept submissions on a rolling basis until May 1 (closed).
Main Conference: June 29-30.
The interdisciplinary meeting brings together researchers who use process-tracing to better understand judgement and decision-making across different contexts. Researchers from cognitive neuroscience, psychology, biology, and economics come together to share their insights into behavior using a variety of process-tracing methods. We encourage researchers from diverse backgrounds and all career levels to submit their work.
Post-Conference workshop: July 1st. The role of attention in discrimination and sustainability
The workshop will focus on applications to address pressing issues, e.g., discrimination and sustainability, which are part of the UN development goals under the umbrella of sustainable society, economy, and planet. In particular, we will highlight discrimination, economic inequality, and climate change. In doing so, we will connect researchers whose agendas center around these issues with experts in process-tracing to discuss synergies and opportunities for collaboration addressing these societal issues.
Keynote/ Tinbergen Lecture: Vojtěch Bartoš (LMU Munich, University of Milan soon)
Arrangements: We plan to hold the conference in-person while adjusting for the COVID-19 situation. We have the facilities for a hybrid setup, if required. We expect participants to be vaccinated to ensure a safe environment.
Registration: Registration includes lunches, coffee breaks, and a conference dinner June 30. The registration fee is not final yet and depends on funding, but will be at most € 50.
We welcome submissions for the EGPROC main conference and post-conference workshop on “The role of attention in discrimination and sustainability.”
